First time travel on AP after layoff I might have to travel internationally for work. Want to know if I have to do anything before my travel.
My situation is: Laid off couple of months ago while on H1 with the sponsoring company. H1 was cancelled by the company Working on EAD since then. Didn't file AC21, as its not mandatory. Filed only I 9 with a EAD details. Always travelled on H1 till now. Have approved AP No recent updates on 485 485 is pending for over two years, 140 is approved over two years ago. EB3 ROW, PD 7/2006 Currently don't have a lawyer. Company lawyer took care of everything till I got laidoff. Do I have to hire a lawyer before I leave? |

Re: First time travel on AP after layoff No you should be fine, no need to hire lawyer.
Please carry employment letter and a letter from your direct manager saying - what you do - that you are a FT employee, location of job etc. |
